Dear Larchmont School Family,

On behalf of the staff at Larchmont School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Larchmont School! As partners in learning, we share responsibility in student success. Therefore, we ask that you guide and support your child's learning by ensuring that he/she:

1. Attends school daily and arrives on time
2. Completes homework
3. Reads daily
4. Talks with you about what takes place in school

We strongly encourage consistent communication with your child's teacher(s). If you have questions or concerns about school, please contact us for clarification via email or phone. Similarly, if there is something that we need to know about your child, it is important to keep us informed.

The Larchmont staff and I are privileged to be a part of this amazing school family! We want all of our students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally; and we will achieve our goals by working together.

Sincerely,

Dr. George E. Jackson
Principal

About Our SchoolTop of Page

Larchmont Elementary School, home of the Bears, is a learning community committed to providing all children a top quality educational program. Our school encourages each student to achieve his or her highest academic and social potential through actively engaging classroom instruction and character education initiatives. Our school's enrollment ranges from approximately 390-400 students in grades PK-4.

Our Parent Teacher Organization is very active at Larchmont Elementary School. The P.T.O. sponsors a number of enriching activities for the students and staff. They provide financial support as well as family sponsored social activities for our children.

At Larchmont, school spirit can be felt the moment you walk through our doors. Our goal is to create fun, memorable learning experiences for all students, while instilling in them a sense of pride in their school and community.
